The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
